The Edwardian Tie

Even though the term “bow tie” didn’t come into use until much later, the wearing of a fuller piece of silk tied into a bow has been a tradition since the 17th century. We call ours the Edwardian tie, not to be confused with the long and skinny “string ties” that made their appearance in spaghetti westerns.
