Though it is a blazer-type coat and shorter than the frock coat, it retains the distinctive back design that made our long coat a favorite. Our current wool gabardine is woven with a denser, more substantial weight than previous productions, offering a luxurious feel, superior durability, and the structured drape expected from premium American-made outerwear.

Love it....lots of room in the shoulders where I want it. Maybe a little too much room in the ribs and waist area. I can get it altered...but seems built for a little more heavyset person.

love the style and fix as well as the material. I just wish I knew that it was only about 6 or 8 inches shorter than my frock. I t will just make it harder for people to know if I'm wearing my frock or town coat. both are beautiful

Frontier is without peer in the Western wear market. This is bespoke clothing of the finest quality. If you are a reenactor, you must have these vests and coats. (I have not yet tried the shirts, but I have to scarves, two coats and three vests.) They personally assist with a purchase. I am a proud satisfied customer. My only complaint is apparent difficulty keeping all sizes available.
